We are in Fairbanks at the Rivers Edge RV Park

I can not get even one picture uploaded (error msg each time). That is a shame because I know you all want to see my 28 day beard (LOL). The meals at our motor home have been gourmet thanks to Helen’s planning and fabulous cooking. Tomorrow we have an excursion to the arctic circle and the Yukon river. It is 16 hours and we get back at 2-3am. The next day we go to Chena Hot Springs to soak and go to the Aurora Ice House. You can stay overnight (we won’t) and/or have an Appletini in an ice glass at the ice bar (we will!). That is about 60 miles from Fairbanks. We are also going on a stern wheeler boat the Discovery up the Chena river to a first nations fish camp. We did this before (about 16 years ago) and it was great. We are in Fairbanks four days and will try to report on what we see. Then we spend two nights in Nenana a small community on the way to Denali on the Tennana river. We do not know what we will find there, but it should be interesting. That will not have internet. Then we spend three nights at the Savage River primative campground at Denali about 19 miles into the park (yep, no internet). You get the idea. We will update the web site when we can and that might not be often. Sorry, but we are having too much fun to care much. Many, many stories when we get home. All the best, Doug and Helen.
